At JKS New Zealand we practice Shotokan Karate-Do with the Japan Shoto-Federation (JKS) worldwide NPO organisation under the leadership of Kagawa Sensei.
JKS NZ was established in Christchurch, New Zealand in November 2002 and now have eight dojo's nationwide.
Our goal is to teach traditional – with a flavour of sports – karate to children, adults and families where respect, effort, commitment and self-control become part of your everyday character. With combined training experience of 135 years between them, our head instructors ensure you are in safe hands.
